Rock Star!
“Lydia Daniller is a rock star, plain and simple. She met with us ahead of time to get a sense of our style, and give us some encouragement ("There's no such thing as 'not photogenic'."). She suggested we take some engagement-style photos near the event venue before guests arrive on the day, and gave amazing direction. Those photos were so fun to take, and are so great to have! Lydia was tireless for those shots beforehand, and during the event: She was such a boss, gathering folks for group shots, keeping them in line, and capturing so much fun. She was everywhere we didn't even know we wanted her to be, getting all the little details we'd spent so much time planning for and taking candids we missed at the time. After we shared the photos with our guests, one friend said, ‘I see a lot of great people having a great time,’ ...which was the goal of the party in the first place.”

Given all of the interactions one has with their photographer, it is really important that you get someone you vibe well with and want around you and your family all day. My day was made better by having her there. “We loved working with Lydia on multiple accounts. First off, what a genuine soul, within the first 30 seconds I could tell she's going to be great. She was a professional, showed up on time, and she knew all the picture perfect spots inside SF City Hall. Lydia was friendly—everyone in our small, immediate family-only wedding party absolutely loved her. Her service was above & beyond what we asked for—she offered, and drove part of our wedding party from City Hall to the Marina!

Too many favorites.
“Like most women of a certain age, I've experienced a variety of wedding photographers over the years—from the perspective of bridesmaid (too many times to count) and guest. Consequently, I knew that for my and my partner's wedding day, I wanted something different from what I had seen before: and Lydia provides that twist. At the same time, she definitely gets those "must-have" shots (like family portraits, first toasts, etc) as well.
The photos themselves are the greatest gift. We can't decide on just a few favorites; there are too many favorites. From the details of the wedding site to sweet moments between us (and between us and friends and family members) to large-scale family portraits, Lydia captured the authentic moments from the day. And she did so with quiet command and presence.”

“Lydia is not only an AMAZING photographer, but we found her to be extremely professional and a joy to have around on such a stressful (yet beautiful) day. During our couples shoot she gave wonderful direction, made it fun, took us to beautiful scenic locations, and was fast. During the ceremony and aftermath she was very discrete, I never even noticed she was snapping photos. So even before we got the photos back, we already knew they were going to be incredible. And when we got them back (in a timely manner) they exceeded all expectations.
