Amikam and Taylor
While masked and staying in family pods, this wedding had all of the joy and simchas of a non-covid celebration. Amikam was able to live-stream the wedding to family in Israel, which is truly amazing when you think about it. We even danced the hora while masked, and Taylor’s friends lofted her in a chair. As we adjust to this unique time, our rituals can adapt with us.
Taylor and Amikam met as graduate students at U.C Berkeley, so we strolled through campus before heading to the Berkeley City Club, which worked well for an outdoor reception on the patio. L’Shana Haba’ah B’Yerushalayim!
